Job summary

Nabors Industries is seeking a Certification Coordinator to provide clerical and administrative support within the Certification Department. Responsibilities include receiving, checking, preparing, and distributing inspection and certification documents, parts manuals, and operations manuals.

Responsibilities also cover data entry, vendor coordination, and maintaining file rooms; occasional lifting up to 20 pounds and long periods of sitting are expected in a fast-paced office environment.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years general office experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of Windows programs with emphasis on Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Adobe Pro, Adept and webpage design knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, identify, prepare, file, mark, store, tag, scan and distribute certification documents and manuals.
  • Perform data entry in internal systems.
  • Maintain professional relationships with vendors to gather required documents.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure all documents are received for equipment.
  • Input documents in the maintenance system for critical equipment certifications.
  • Perform clerical duties such as answering phones, copying, scanning, travel arrangements.
  • Upload files to NaborsNet/SharePoint; organize certification file rooms.
  • Attend necessary meetings and assist the Certification Manager.
  • Acknowledge ability to lift up to 20 pounds, sit for long periods, climb short stairs and ladders.

The Certification Coordinator provides clerical and administrative support for the Certification Department by receiving, checking, monitoring, preparing, and distributing inspection and certification documents, parts manuals, and operations manuals.

General
  • Performs activities associated with receiving, identifying, preparing, filing, marking, storing, tagging, scanning, and distributing certification documents and parts/operations manuals.
  • Carries out data entry functions using internal systems.
  • Maintain a professional relationship with vendors in order to gather required documents.
  • Work with the project teams to ensure all necessary documents are received for equipment.
  • Input documents in the maintenance system as required for critical equipment certifications.
  • Perform clerical duties such as answer phones, make copies, scan documents, travel arrangements, expenses for department as instructed.
  • Transfer files/documents within folder structures for certifications.
  • Upload files to NaborsNet/Sharepoint website.
  • Attend any meetings that are necessary.
  • Basic functions of asset management system.
  • Organize and maintain certification file rooms to include past and present hard copies when required.
  • Able to lift up to 20 pounds, sit for long periods of time, climb short stairs and ladders.

Experience
  • 3 – 5 years general office experience

Education and Training
  • High School graduate, or equivalent
