Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products Corp. Eastlake seeks a Ceramics Shell Process Engineer to provide technical engineering and manufacturing support for the shell department in an investment casting facility.

You will collaborate with operations and engineering to drive continuous process improvements and optimize overall manufacturing performance. The role leads initiatives to improve efficiency, throughput, safety, quality, and cost, and supports new product launches while maintaining standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment, with a preference to investment casting industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations and engineering to drive process improvements and reduce variation.
• Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, throughput, safety, quality, and cost across the shell department.
• Establish and maintain SPC control charts for key variables.
• Investigate scrap and shell process defects using root cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain work procedures for clean and cap operations.
