Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Elyria, OH is seeking a Ceramic Ferrule Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (11pm–7am). You will load and unload the ferrule furnace, maintain proper temperatures, assist ferrule presses, and handle boxing, labeling, and inventory documentation.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, the ability to stand for 8 to 10 hours in a manufacturing environment, and basic computer skills. Forklift certification is preferred or obtainable after hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand and walk for majority of an 8 to 10-hour day in a manufacturing ceramic kiln environment.
• Bend, lift up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
• Basic computer skills for inventory transactions.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification after hire.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload ferrule furnace.
• Maintain proper temperature.
• Assist Ferrule Team Member in servicing ferrule presses.
• Box/container making, packaging (weighing, labeling, sealing, wrapping), transport and store in inventory location with proper documentation.
