Job summary

Cephas Consultancy Services Private Limited in Knoxville is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems, ensuring uptime and safe operation of kilns, presses, and furnaces.

You will use Fiix CMMS to schedule work, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, read blueprints, and support upgrades while collaborating with production and engineering teams to meet manufacturing goals.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a high school diploma or GED and relevant maintenance experience.
• Proficient in Fiix or similar CMMS platforms.
• At least 3+ years in maintenance or manufacturing environments.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience with PLCs, sensors, and industrial control systems.
• Familiarity with kilns, ovens, and high-temperature processing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Maintain kilns and high-temperature furnaces and related systems.
• Diagnose equipment issues and implement repairs to minimize downtime.
• Monitor KPIs and document maintenance activities in Fiix CMMS.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures and trainings.
• Occasional on-call or overtime as needed.
