Job summary

CEMEX in Knoxville is looking for a Maintenance Plant worker responsible for ensuring that all manufacturing equipment is maintained, serviced, and repaired. Duties include repairing conveyor systems, plumbing, and electrical work.

The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma/GED with trade school certification and at least one year of relevant experience. The job requires adherence to strict safety protocols and physical ability to perform various maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid high school diploma or GED and trade school certification.
• Must have at least one year of relevant experience in plant maintenance.
• Physical welding exam required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all plant equipment according to specifications.
• Assist in scheduling of repairs based on operational needs.
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lock-Out Tag-Out protocols.

Skills

Pneumatic and hydraulic equipment troubleshooting

Conveyor systems knowledge

Electrical experience (120V to 460V 3 phase)

Data entry and computer skills

Education
