Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to support high-speed manufacturing equipment. The role covers routine and emergency maintenance, process improvements, installation support, and collaboration with engineering to ensure reliable operations.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, perform PMs, and mentor junior staff in a fast-paced FDA-compliant environment. This position is on site and offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Associates Degree or technical certificate required.
NFPA 70E Arc Flash certification required.
Minimum 6 years of equipment maintenance in FDA-compliant manufacturing.
Experience with Vision systems and electrical troubleshooting up to 480 VAC.
Knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs and ladder logic.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and emergency maintenance on high-speed manufacturing equipment.
Coordinate maintenance resources with Supervisors and Leads.
Perform startup/shutdown procedures and verify equipment status.
Assist operations with line issues, resets, and restarts.
Complete preventive maintenance at defined intervals and revise as needed.
Train and mentor maintenance/operations associates.
