Job summary

Gafcon PM-CM LLC is seeking a Project Manager, CEQA to lead environmental planning and compliance for the District’s capital program. You will coordinate CEQA activities, consultants, and district leadership to ensure timely, compliant delivery across design through construction.

The role requires 5+ years in CEQA and public-sector projects, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental planning or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of CEQA or environmental planning experience.
• Experience in public-sector capital programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to present to leadership.
• Experience coordinating with legal counsel, consultants, and public agencies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary coordinator for CEQA and environmental compliance.
• Support the district's EIR program with updates and documentation.
• Develop guidelines for CEQA management across capital programs.
• Coordinate with General Counsel on CEQA strategy and risk.
• Manage environmental consultants and third-party resources.
• Prepare CEQA public notices and related documents.
• Maintain documentation of approvals and compliance.
