Job summary

CSG Consultants, Inc. in Southern California is seeking a CEQA Project Manager to lead environmental documentation and CEQA processes for a variety of projects across California. The role emphasizes client collaboration, proposal work, and growth in the Environmental Planning Practice within Planning Services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences, geography, planning, or related field.
• CEQA familiarity and experience coordinating and managing study levels.
• Proven ability to deliver quality reports on time and within budget with clients and interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager on CEQA projects and proposals.
• Prepare environmental documentation for development, infrastructure, and policy projects.
• Lead preparation of CEQA documents (EIRs, NDs/CEs, exemptions) per guidelines.
• Confirm CEQA requirements are met and ensure adherence to timing and budget.
• Maintain client relationships as the primary contact for CEQA deliverables.
• Coordinate and integrate sub-consultant work and research into documents.
• Contribute to business development activities and proposal preparation.
