Job summary

CSG Consultants, Inc. in Southern California is seeking an experienced CEQA Project Manager to oversee environmental documentation for diverse development, infrastructure, and policy initiatives.

The role is full-time with a hybrid work model, requiring collaboration with clients and subconsultants across California. The ideal candidate has strong writing and communication skills, a minimum of four years in environmental analysis, and experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, geography, planning or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience with a government agency or firm.
• Familiar with CEQA and active roles in coordination and management of the various levels of study.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a Project Manager on projects and proposal pursuits.
• Preparation of environmental documentation for various types of development, infrastructure, and policy projects.
• Hands on manager in preparing CEQA documents including exemptions, IAs/MNDs, EIRs and related studies.
• Coordinate with clients and subconsultants to ensure CEQA requirements are met on time and within budget.
• Manage schedules, scopes, and budgets; prioritize deadlines and workload.
• Contribute to business development activities including proposals and client outreach.
• Support growth of the environmental planning practice and team development.
