CSG Consultants, Inc. is seeking a CEQA Project Manager in Southern California to lead environmental documentation and CEQA processes across diverse projects.

The role emphasizes collaboration with teams and partners, with a focus on delivering high-quality CEQA work on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will manage projects, perform CEQA analyses, and contribute to business development while coordinating with agencies, clients, and subconsultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, geography, planning or related field (or in process).
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience with a government agency or firm in environmental analysis and reporting.
• Familiar with CEQA and active roles in coordination and management of the various levels of study.
• Understanding of CEQA, state guidelines, and processing requirements.
• Experience as a key project manager on environmental review/analysis assignments with clients and teams.
• Proficiency with Word/Excel/PowerPoint; familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a Project Manager on projects and proposal pursuits.
• Prepares environmental documentation for development and infrastructure projects.
• Manages CEQA studies including exemptions, IS/MNDs, EIRs and related studies.
• Ensures CEQA requirements are met within guidelines and timelines.
• Maintains client satisfaction and serves as the CEQA deliverables contact.
• Supports business development and proposal activities.
