Jewish Family Service Agency (JFSA) in Las Vegas seeks a dynamic Chief Executive Officer to lead a nonprofit human-services organization serving Southern Nevada. The CEO will partner with the Board to guide strategy, strengthen financial sustainability, and enhance program impact across diverse communities.

The role requires a proven track record in fundraising, governance, and community leadership, with a commitment to collaboration and ethical stewardship.

Qualifications

• Mission-Driven Leadership: Demonstrated success leading a nonprofit or human-services organization with diverse programs, teams, and community needs.
• Financial & Business Acumen: Proven ability to strengthen financial sustainability, manage resources, drive growth, and expand organizational capacity.
• Fundraising & Resource Development: Track record of cultivating major donors, foundations, government funders, corporate partners, and other key stakeholders.
• Organizational Effectiveness: Experience evaluating programs, developing talent, diversifying revenue, and aligning resources with strategic priorities. Has a clear knowledge of the areas served.
• Community Engagement: Strong understanding of and connections within the Southern Nevada community, with the ability to build relationships across diverse sectors and populations.
• Understanding of the Southern Nevada community, including the Jewish Community: Familiarity and comfort with the Jewish community, its institutions, values, and traditions, combined with an appreciation for JFSA’s nonsectarian mission and a demonstrated ability to collaborate with organizations and community partners across Southern Nevada.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of JFSA’s strategic plan, monitor progress, and adjust priorities to meet evolving community needs.
• Cultivate a collaborative culture that attracts, develops, and retains strong staff and leadership.
• Build partnerships that expand JFSA’s reach and impact in the Southern Nevada community.
• Ensure sound financial planning, budgeting, and oversight balancing sustainability with program needs.
• Oversee fundraising efforts, donor development, and revenue diversification to support operations and facilities.
