Job summary

CommonSpirit Houston Rehabilitation Hospital in Spring, TX, opening Summer 2027, seeks a Chief Executive Officer to lead a new 40-bed inpatient rehab facility on the St. Luke's campus.

You will guide clinical and financial strategy, build a high-performing leadership team, and ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CARF, and other standards. The role emphasizes strategic growth, market development, and partnerships, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and outcomes in a growing

Qualifications

• 5 years of successful healthcare management experience, preferably as hospital/healthcare facility CEO/COO.
• Rehabilitation hospital experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred; focus in Business, Healthcare Operations/Management or a clinical discipline is desirable.
• Med-Surge hospitals and systems knowledge is a plus.
• Passion for superior clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership within the organization, guiding clinical and financial goals.
• Develop and implement a strategic plan focused on clinical excellence and financial performance.
• Maintain operational controls, reporting and systems to meet goals.
• Oversee financial performance and take corrective actions as needed.
• Motivate and lead a high-performance management team and recruit physicians as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, Joint Commission, CARF and rehab standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
