Job summary

The Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization, advance the profession of pharmacy, and represent more than 2,400 members across the Commonwealth.

Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the CEO will provide executive oversight for the Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association, the PPA Educational Foundation, the Pennsylvania Pharmacists Care Network, and PharmPAC, and will serve as the primary representative

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (accredited institution) required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of senior-level management experience.
• Demonstrated experience in legislative advocacy, government relations, or lobbying.
• Proven track record of financial management and budget oversight.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to travel statewide and nationally, including some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association and related entities; advance the profession of pharmacy.
• Represent the association to legislative and regulatory bodies, external stakeholders, and the public.
• Report to the Board of Directors and provide executive oversight for the association, the PPA Educational Foundation, the Pennsylvania Pharmacists Care Network, and PharmPAC.
• Serve as the primary representative of the association to policymakers and the public.
