Job summary

Scion Executive Search has been engaged to conduct the search for a President for a premier private tutoring and education services company with centers in New Jersey and online. This is a unique opportunity to guide a founder-built organization into its next phase while preserving educational quality and personal experience.

The President will report to the founder, lead the organization, and develop systems, talent practices, and growth capabilities to operate beyond the founder.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in a founder-led, growth-stage services business and P&L responsibilities.
• Experience driving growth, business development, and partnerships.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to translate data into priorities and metrics.
• Comfort engaging with discerning families, clients, and referral partners.
• Experience with tutoring/education services or related sectors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day performance and accountability across the organization.
• Strengthen operating systems, workflows, and technology for scalable growth.
• Build a management rhythm with operating, financial, sales, service, and staffing metrics.
• Lead coordination of in-person and online operations across centers.
• Evaluate technology and AI applications to improve efficiency and client experience.
