Affiliates of Pennant Services now operate more than 104 senior living, home health, hospice, physician services, and home care operations across 14 Western states and we are growing! These operations have no corporate headquarters or traditional management hierarchy. Instead, they operate independently with support from the “Service Center,” a world-class service team that provides centralized clinical, legal, risk management, HR, training, accounting, IT, and other resources to enable on-site leaders and caregivers to focus on care and business issues.

The CEO-In-Training (CIT) role is designed to prepare proven leaders for an executive Director position, overseeing a Pennant affiliated company. The CIT Program is a full-time, paid executive training program lasting approximately 6-12 weeks, depending on experience and industry knowledge. Successful CITs will be supported to lead a local company, with mentorship from experienced leaders, to gain a comprehensive understanding of our culture, operating models, systems, and leadership requirements.
The program includes hands-on training in all operational roles, shadowing clinicians, administrative staff, and studying relevant regulations and curriculum to develop operational expertise. CITs are expected to undertake projects, assume responsibilities, and identify opportunities for improvement in their host operations.
Additional tasks may be assigned as needed to support business operations.
