Job summary

Temple University Health System in Philadelphia, PA seeks a physician executive to serve as Chief Executive Officer of Temple Faculty Physicians (TFP). The CEO will lead TFP’s strategic, operational, financial, and cultural performance, reporting directly to the President & CEO of Temple University Health System.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical or osteopathic medical school.
• Progressive executive leadership in a large multispecialty physician group, academic practice plan, or integrated physician enterprise, with P&L accountability.
• Track record of leading operational and financial improvement in a complex, matrixed environment.
• Substantive experience partnering with medical school leadership and clinical department chairs.

Responsibilities

• Lead Temple Faculty Physicians’ strategic, operational, financial, and cultural performance.
• Partner with the Dean’s office, department chairs, and Temple Health leadership.
• Drive revenue cycle performance, payer strategy, and value-based care initiatives.
• Sponsor ambulatory EHR and digital access initiatives across sites.
