Job summary

Temple Faculty Physicians (TFP) invites a physician executive to serve as Chief Executive Officer. The role oversees TFP's strategic, operational, financial and cultural performance in conjunction with Temple Health and the Lewis Katz School of Medicine.

The CEO partners with medical school leadership, department chairs, and system leaders to drive value, access, quality, and provider engagement across multiple campuses in the Philadelphia region.

Qualifications

• MD or DO credential required to lead a physician enterprise.
• MBA or equivalent business credential preferred for strategic and financial leadership.
• Progressive executive leadership experience in a large multispecialty physician group or academic practice plan.
• Track record of operational and financial improvement in a complex, matrixed health system.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year strategy for Temple Faculty Physicians aligned with Temple Health and LKSOM priorities.
• Lead clinical operations, financial performance, and workforce strategy while maintaining academic integrity and governance.

Education

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

MBA or equivalent business credential

Progressive executive leadership in a large multispecialty physician group
