Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Manager of Centralized OR Scheduling to lead scheduling operations for our Capital Division. The role requires strong leadership, operational oversight, and collaboration with clinical and administrative stakeholders.

The position covers centralized OR scheduling, with emphasis on timely booking, resource optimization, and policy development in line with hospital standards. A Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years in surgical services or healthcare operations are

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, business, or related field is required.
RN or clinical background in perioperative services.
Minimum 5 years of experience in surgical services or healthcare operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
Lean Six Sigma or process improvement certification.

Responsibilities

Lead centralized OR scheduling operations with focus on service quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
Supervise scheduling team including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Oversee daily scheduling to optimize OR time and resources.
Develop scheduling policies aligned with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
Monitor call center metrics and implement strategies to improve service levels.
Collaborate with clinical and administrative stakeholders to ensure smooth OR operations.
