Panacea Health Corp is seeking a dynamic Centralized Intake Specialist to join our healthcare team. This remote, part-time role requires living in Pennsylvania and working every Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 8pm.

You will be the first point of contact for patients, coordinate initial assessments, and manage referrals with care and accuracy. Ideal candidates have an active PA RN or LPN license, strong communication skills, and experience with EHR systems and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN or LPN in the state of Pennsylvania
• Proven experience in admission coordination, preferably with skilled nursing facilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong knowledge of health regulation policies, medical terminology, and health insurance processes
• Experience with patient management software and electronic health records (EHR/EHR) systems
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly via phone and referral correspondence
• Knowledge of medical administrative support functions including appointment scheduling and record keeping
• Familiarity with maintaining patient confidentiality according to HIPAA or relevant privacy standards

Duties

• Act as the primary point of contact for incoming referral calls, emails, and inquiries, providing friendly and professional assistance

• Screen and triage initial patient needs based on health regulation policies and medical terminology knowledge
• Schedule follow-up visits, and coordinate with skilled nursing facilities to ensure smooth patient flow
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient records in compliance with health privacy regulations
• Assist with verifying insurance details and supporting medical administrative support tasks
• Document all interactions thoroughly in electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
