Job summary

Noble House Hotels & Resorts seeks a Centralized Controller to join its Corporate Finance Team. Based in Kirkland, WA preferred, but remote is possible in Washington, South Carolina, Nevada, Texas, Colorado, Louisiana, Virginia, or Florida. The role oversees centralized accounting for the portfolio of hotels, ensuring accuracy and GAAP/USALI compliance. The team mentors property accounting staff and drives standardization.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of progressive hospitality finance and accounting experience, including leadership roles such as Hotel Controller, Assistant Director of Finance, or Area Controller.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; CPA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, USALI, and hospitality accounting practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee centralized accounting operations supporting the hotel portfolio.
• Manage month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, financial statement prep, cash flow, and audits.
• Collaborate with property leadership and corporate finance to monitor performance, strengthen internal controls, and ensure audit readiness.

We prefer for this role to be based in Kirkland, WA at our Corporate Office, however, we are open for it to be remote in the following states: Washington, South Carolina, Nevada, Texas, Colorado, Louisiana, Virginia, or Florida.

The JOB

The Centralized Controller is responsible for overseeing the centralized accounting operations supporting our portfolio of hotels and resorts, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of assigned financial reporting. This role provides oversight of month-end close activities, balance sheet reconciliations, financial statement preparation, cash flow, and compliance with company policies, USALI, and GAAP standards. The Centralized Controller partners closely with property leadership and corporate finance teams to monitor financial performance, cash flow strengthen internal controls, and maintain audit readiness. Additionally, this position serves as a key resource for training, mentoring, and supporting property accounting teams while driving consistency, standardization, and operational efficiency throughout the organization's accounting functions.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of progressive hospitality finance and accounting experience, including service as a Hotel Controller, Assistant Director of Finance, Area Controller, or similar leadership role.


• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA designation preferred. Proven experience managing accounting processes, financial reporting and internal controls within a hotel or resort environment. Experience supporting multiple properties in a centralized accounting structure is highly desirable.


• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, USALI, and hospitality accounting practices. Demonstrated ability to oversee month-end and year-end close processes, maintain balance sheet integrity, support audits and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.


• Experience with full-service hotels, resorts, and mixed-use hospitality operations preferred. Familiarity with condo-hotel accounting, owner reporting and multi-entity accounting structures is advantageous.
