Responsibilities

• Preparing patient charts and gathering information and documents.
• Ensuring that the medical records are organized, accurate and complete.
• Creating digital copies of paperwork and storing records electronically.
• Filing paperwork and reports quickly and accurately.
• Transferring data into the facility’s main system database.
• Assisting Social Services, Business Office, and Marketing departments.
• Ordering supplies needed within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Preparing patient charts and gathering information and documents from patients and/or other providers
• Ensuring that the medical records are organized, accurate and complete
• Creating digital copies of paperwork and storing the records electronically
• Filing the paperwork and reports quickly and accurately
• Safeguarding patient records and ensuring that everyone complies with the HIPAA standards
• Transferring data into the facility’s main system database
• Processing the records for admitting and discharging patients
• Assisting Social Services, Business Office, and Marketing departments as needed
• Ordering supplies needed within the facility, ensuring budget is maintained and all storage areas are stocked with needed supplies
• The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, be organized and detail‑oriented, possess excellent customer service skills, be able to prioritize tasks and work in a team environment
