Job summary

The Lodge at Sandhills Carolina is seeking a Central Supply/Medical Records Coordinator to join our healthcare team in Pinehurst, NC. The role focuses on organizing patient charts, securing accurate information, and managing digital records within the facility’s main system.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with Social Services, Business Office, and Marketing departments.

Responsibilities

• Preparing patient charts and gathering information and documents from patients and/or other providers
• Ensuring that the medical records are organized, accurate and complete
• Creating digital copies of paperwork and storing the records electronically
• Filing the paperwork and reports quickly and accurately
• Safeguarding patient records and ensuring HIPAA compliance
• Transferring data into the facility's main system database
• Processing the records for admitting and discharging patients
• Assisting Social Services, Business Office, and Marketing departments as needed
• Order supplies within the facility, ensuring budget is maintained and storage areas are stocked

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing patient charts and gathering information and documents from patients and/or other providers

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, be organized and detail-oriented, possess excellent customer service skills, be able to prioritize tasks and work in a team environment.
