Job summary

A healthcare rehabilitation center in New York is seeking a dedicated Supply Clerk to manage receiving, storing, and inventory of supplies. The role involves ensuring supplies are in good condition and delivered on time, maintaining an organized supply area, and performing tasks related to inventory management. Candidates should have a high school diploma and be organized, with familiarity in inventory systems and basic computer knowledge. This position requires physical stamina for lifting and moving supplies.

Qualifications

• Must have familiarity with inventory, ordering, and purchasing systems.
• Capable of lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling up to 50 LBS.
• Experience in using Outlook is required.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and check packing slips for discrepancies.
• Maintain the Central Supply area and review expiration dates.
• Ensure timely delivery of supplies to the relevant floors.
• Deliver supplies to floors as ordered, in good condition and on time.
• Restock unit stock rooms per weekly par levels.
• Deliver and pick up broken or repaired equipment, monitor usage.

Overview

Main Function: Performs activities associated with the receiving, storing and replenishing supplies

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries into building, checking packing slips for purchase orders for any discrepancies
• Perform functions relative to receiving, storing and inventory control of the supplies utilized throughout the facility
• Maintain the Central Supply area in an organized fashion, reviewing expiration dates, and restocking routinely
• Ensure needed supplies are delivered to the floors as ordered in good conditions and on time
• Restock each unit's stock room, as well as any other indicated storage areas, according to the par levels indicated weekly
• Deliver and pick up broken/repaired equipment
• Follow the supply requisition system to monitor product utilization and avoid over-supply
• Perform other duties as requested

Physical Requirements

Lifting, bending, pushing and pulling up to 50 LBS. This job requires long periods of physical work.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma
• Familiarity with inventory, ordering, and purchasing systems, bills offloading, freight bills
• Must be organized
• Must have computer Knowledge/ experience that consist of Microsoft office and excel
• Must have working knowledge of Outlook

Shift Description

7:00 am to 3:00 PM on Monday- Friday
