Job summary

AdamsPlace in Bluffton, SC is seeking a Central Supply Clerk to maintain par levels of nursing supplies and conduct routine weekly inventory. You will work directly with vendors to stock, order, and document materials to ensure uninterrupted resident care.

This full‑time position requires following established policies, honoring budgets, and preparing billing statements for resident accounts. You will interact with multiple departments, present a professional appearance, and operate

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Knowledge of medical supplies and equipment ordering and stocking procedures.
• Organized and capable of keeping track of medical supplies and equipment.
• Present a professional appearance.
• Polite and courteous to supply vendors.
• Ability to work with people and various departments.
• Knowledgeable in using a calculator.
• Work independently with little or no supervision.

Responsibilities

Central Supply Clerk

Pay Range: $15 - $17 / hour depending on experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain par levels of all nursing supplies.
• Conduct routine weekly inventory to ensure par levels; work directly with vendors, maintain lists of supplies needed and purchase materials to keep adequate inventory.
• Prepare correspondence and claims concerning damaged merchandise, errors in shipment, etc., and return to vendor as required.
• Follow prescribed budget.
• Create and submit to the Business Office a complete billing statement for resident billing.
• Fill approved requisitions for departments for routine supplies and equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
