Job summary

DuPage County Care Center is hiring a Central Supply Aide to support daily operations in our centralized supplies department. You will wash, sterilize, stock, and deliver medical supplies and equipment to various units, ensuring accurate packing and labeling for sterile packs.

The role requires a high school diploma and 3–6 months of related experience. Post-offer physical and background check are required, with full benefits and paid time off available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–6 months related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Washes, sterilizes equipment, instruments, and supply items used in medical and nursing procedures.
• Replenishes supply carts and delivers to assigned areas.
• Prepares packs of supplies, instruments, and dressing and treatment trays, according to designated lists or codes, and wraps, labels and seals packs.
• Delivers sterilized items and special medical trays to assigned areas.
• Delivers IV supplies and IV pumps to assigned areas.
• Picks up soiled items to be cleaned.
• Stores prepared articles and supplies in designated areas.
• Stocks and maintains central supply.
• Completes inventory and maintains the correct levels and/or numbers for supplies at which stock needs to be replenished.
• Fills supply requisition and places orders as needed.
• Place orders from suppliers according to contracts.
• Tags items.
