Job summary

DuPage County is offering a Central Supply Aide position at the Care Center. The role involves cleaning and sterilizing equipment, replenishing carts, and delivering supplies while maintaining accurate inventory and packing orders.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED required.
• 3–6 months related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Washes, sterilizes equipment, instruments, and supply items used in medical and nursing procedures.
• Replenishes supply carts and delivers to assigned areas.
• Prepares packs of supplies, instruments, and dressing and treatment trays, according to designated lists or codes, and wraps, labels and seals packs.
• Delivers sterilized items and special medical trays to assigned areas.
• Delivers IV supplies and IV pumps to assigned areas.
• Picks up soiled items to be cleaned.
• Stores prepared articles and supplies in designated areas.
• Stocks and maintains central supply.
• Completes inventory and maintains the correct levels and/or numbers for supplies at which stock needs to be replenished.
• Fills supply requisition and places orders as needed.
• Place orders from suppliers according to contracts.
• Tags items.
