Job summary

Vitruvian Health in Dalton, GA is seeking a Central Sterile Tech to join the Sterile and Surgery Department. You will assemble, sterilize, and decontaminate instruments and trays, and manage case carts and equipment to support patient care.

Qualifications include a High School diploma, completion of a Central Sterile Program, and CST certification. One year of CST experience is preferred; on-the-job training is available.

Qualifications

• Education includes a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a Central Sterile Program.
• Certification as Central Sterile Tech is required.
• One year of CST experience is preferred; related training is acceptable.
• Knowledge of surgical instruments is preferred; on‑the‑job training is available.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and sterilize instruments/trays and prepare peel packs.
• Operate sterilizing equipment and case cart modules.
• Perform scheduled pickups of instrument trays and patient care equipment.
• Clean, inspect, assemble, and sanitize soiled instruments.
• Clean and decontaminate case carts and patient equipment, including stretchers and wheelchairs.
