Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Central Sterile Tech to maintain standards for set assembly, decontamination, inspection, containerizing and sterilizing surgical instruments in an accurate and timely manner.

Responsibilities include sterilization, assembly and storage of medical supplies, and collaborating with Perioperative Nursing staff to provide sterile instrument sets and equipment, ensuring continuous workflow and superior customer service.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Central Services Processing or Surgical Tech program required.
• In lieu of program, prior experience as a Central Service or Surgical Tech required.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Central Services Processing or Surgical Tech program Required or
• In Lieu of graduate of Central Sterile Processing or Surgical Tech program, must have prior experience as a Central Service or Surgical Tech Required

Work Experience

• In Lieu of Central Services Processing/Surgical Tech program, prior experience in Central Sterile or Surgical Technology Required
• Prior experience in Central Sterile or Surgical Technology Preferred
