Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Central Sterile Technician to support the Perioperative team by sterilizing, assembling and storing instrument sets and medical supplies in a timely, accurate manner.

Responsibilities include collaborating with nursing staff to ensure sterile instrument sets and equipment are ready for procedures, maintaining workflow, and delivering reliable customer service in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifikationen

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited Central Services Processing or Surgical Tech program.
• In lieu of program, must have prior Central Sterile Processing or Surgical Tech experience.

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required and
• Graduate of an accredited Central Services Processing or Surgical Tech program Required or
• In Lieu of graduate of Central Sterile Processing or Surgical Tech program, must have prior experience as a Central Service or Surgical Tech Required

Work Experience

• In Lieu of Central Services Processing/Surgical Tech program, prior experience in Central Sterile or Surgical Technology Required
• Prior experience in Central Sterile or Surgical Technology Preferred
