Job summary

Vitruvian Health, serving the northwest Georgia and southeast Tennessee region, seeks a Central Sterile Technician to support the Central Sterile and Surgery Department. You will assemble and sterilize instruments, trays, and operate sterilizing equipment necessary for daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Central Sterile Certification required.
• One year experience as a Central Sterile Tech or completion of a Central Sterile Program preferred.
• Knowledge of surgical instruments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and sterilize instruments/trays and peel pack extra procedural instruments.
• Operate sterilizing equipment and case cart module preparation.
• Scheduled pick-ups of instrument trays and patient care equipment; clean, inspect, and assemble instruments.
• Decontaminate all case carts and patient equipment, including stretchers and wheelchairs.
