Job summary

Vitruvian Health is seeking a Central Sterile Technician to support the operation of the central sterile and surgery departments. Responsibilities include assembling and sterilizing instruments and trays, operating sterilizing equipment, and preparing case carts and patient care equipment.

Qualifications

Education: High School graduate or equivalent preferred or completion of a Central Sterile Program.
Licensure: Central Sterile Certification required.
Experience: One year experience as a Central Sterile Tech or completion of a Central Sterile Program preferred. Knowledge of surgical instruments preferred.

Responsibilities

Assemble and sterilize instruments/trays and peel packing extra procedural instruments.
Operate sterilizing equipment and case cart module preparation.
Perform scheduled pick-ups of all instrument trays and patient care equipment.
