Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification as a Central Service Technician or equivalent is necessary.
• 400 hours of hands-on training required for provisional certification.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for instrument exchange and inventory management.
• Decontaminate and disinfect mobile patient equipment.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement processes.

Skills

Knowledge of decontamination processes

Effective communication skills

Basic computer skills

Education
