Job summary

NYU Langone Health is looking for a Central Sterile Technician to join the team in New York City. In this role, you will handle all instruments and supplies, ensure timely delivery to surgical suites, and assist in decontamination processes. You will also maintain inventory and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Certification from an accredited body such as CBSPD or HSPA is mandatory.
• Provisional certification is acceptable; 400 hours of training required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all instruments exchange carts and emergency supplies.
• Deliver instrument sets to surgical suites in a timely manner.
• Assist in decontaminating designated surgical instrumentation.
