Trinity Health in Pontiac, Michigan is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to handle decontamination, cleaning, sterilization, storage, and distribution of surgical instruments and supplies in accordance with infection control standards and departmental procedures.
This full‑time position on the Evening Shift requires a high school diploma or GED, a Central Sterile Processing certificate or at least one year of experience, and CSPD certification preferred.

Full-Time/Evening Shift
The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the decontamination, cleaning, assembly, sterilization, storage, and distribution of surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies in accordance with established infection control standards and departmental procedures. This role supports safe, high-quality patient care by ensuring all supplies and instrumentation are prepared accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
High school diploma or GED required. Certificate of Completion from an accredited Central Sterile Processing program or minimum of one (1) year of sterile processing experience required. Certification through IAHCSMM (HSPA) or CSPBD preferred.
Requires frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 30 lbs, and exposure to communicable diseases, biohazardous materials, chemicals, and sharp instruments.
