Job summary

UPMC Mercy Health Center in Pittsburgh is hiring full-time Sterile Processing Associates for evening or night shifts. You will clean, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and support our OR upgrade and Pavilion relocation to ensure safe, efficient hospital operations.

The role requires prior healthcare experience, good attendance, and professionalism. Certification is a plus but not required; scrubs and shoes are provided, with a career ladder for advancement and meaningful work

• Participate in performance improvement and ongoing education.

Whether you're interested in our evening shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) or night shift (10:30 PM – 7:00 AM), this is your chance to step into a hands‑on role that directly supports surgical excellence and patient care.

What You’ll Do

As a Sterile Processing Associate, you’ll be responsible for cleaning, assembling, and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment. You’ll support major initiatives like our OR upgrade and Pavilion relocation, helping ensure safe, efficient operations across the hospital.
