Job summary

UPMC Presbyterian is hiring Central Sterile Processing Associates to support Presbyterian and Montefiore campuses. You will decontaminate, clean, and sterilize surgical instruments, assemble trays, and prepare case carts to support safe surgeries.

Openings on Day, Evening and Overnight shifts. Eligible for up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus for certified and experienced CST technicians. A robust 6-month paid training program and clear career ladder are available to help you grow.

Qualifications

• Certified & Experienced (1+ year) Central Sterile Processing Technician
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy trays
• Flexibility to work rotating on-call, weekend, and holiday shifts

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, clean, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment
• Assemble surgical trays with precision and attention to detail
• Operate and monitor high-tech sterilization equipment
• Maintain inventory and prepare case carts for upcoming surgeries
• Collaborate with team members to ensure patient safety and surgical success
