Job summary

The Cumberland County School District seeks a Special Education Assistant to support the instructional program within the assigned school, assisting in supervision and instruction of special needs students. You will help the special education teacher with lesson planning, testing, and ISP execution, and observe and document student progress.

Reports to the principal and collaborates with the school team to create a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 60 semester hours from an accredited college or university.
• Passing score on the Parapro test.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

Minimum requirements: Associate's degree or 60 semester hours of college credit, from an accredited college or university, or a passing score on the Parapro test.

Preferred: Registered Behavior Technician Certification
