Job summary

UCLA Health in Santa Monica is seeking a Central Service Technician 1, Per Diem, with a variable schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. This role supports the Santa Monica Hospital distribution of supplies, equipment, and linen, coordinating with patient care units and Materials Management to meet supply needs.

The position is part-time per diem (as needed) with a salary range based on hourly pay. Cross-training in other areas may be required to support department needs.

Responsibilities

• Order supplies using various databases and track inventory levels
• Receive and transport shipment;reconcile packing slips against delivered content
• Provide customer service to staff who come to the issuing window for pick-up
• Pick supplies and deliver content for medical cases
• Conduct daily equipment rounds including clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment
• Additionally, this position may be cross-trained in other areas to support departmental needs
