Job summary

Columbus Regional Health is seeking a dedicated scheduling specialist for a fully remote role. You will manage patient appointments with precision and courtesy, using the computerized scheduling system and ensuring timely communication with physicians and office staff.

Responsibilities include coordinating with hospital departments, serving adults and seniors, and maintaining a professional standard across all interactions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• One year experience in a medical setting that includes operation of Microsoft Word, Excel, Scheduling systems and other software programs.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer keyboarding skills must be at the 75th percentile.
• Grammar and vocabulary skills must be at the 75th percentile.

Job description

What you need to know about this position:

• Provides accurate, efficient and courteous scheduling by utilizing the computerized scheduling system in an organized and timely manner.
• Communicates with physicians, physician office staff and patients. Works cooperatively with hospital departments and personnel; age groups served are primarily adults and seniors.
• This position will require you to work Monday through Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM, 40 hours a week, considered full-time.
• This position is 100% remote.
• The base hourly rate for this position is $17.61. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.

What is required for this position:

Education and/or Experience
