Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Logistics Project Manager to orchestrate material flow among multiple QTS locations and coordinate with vendors for efficient, cost-effective operations.

The role emphasizes inventory control, forecasting, and cross-site asset transfers, with a focus on building-aware logistics planning and proactive issue resolution. Strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and a track record in data-driven process improvements are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, systems engineering, supply chain management or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory tracking and shipping with 3rd party vendors to maximize efficiency in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Develop, facilitate, and document processes to transfer assets between sites within expected time frame for maximum efficiency.
• Maintain relationships with transportation carriers, warehouses, etc. to ensure execution of business outcomes.
• Report on inventory levels, supply chain progress, and procedural efficiencies.
• Forecast equipment needs based on proposed business plan.
• Understand building types and how that drives equipment needs to guide design decisions.
• Identify and resolve unique equipment needs with business groups to mitigate risks.
• Develop and establish logistics processes for Procurement Development to optimize logistics/supply chain network.
• Create and communicate status updates to support efficient decision making.
• Other duties may be assigned.
