Job summary

QTS Data Centers seeks a Logistics Project Manager to oversee material flow between locations and coordinate with Strategic Procurement Project Managers. You will manage inventory, develop processes for asset transfers, and sustain 3rd party carrier relationships to meet project timelines.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in a related field or equivalent experience, 3+ years in a similar role, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, systems engineering, supply chain management or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience working with inventory management software and forecasting strategies
• Experience conducting tracking and data analysis
• Very strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory tracking and shipping with 3rd party vendors to maximize efficiency in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Develop, facilitate, and document processes to transfer assets between sites within expected time frames
• Develop, manage, and maintain relationships with transportation carriers and warehouses
• Report on inventory levels, supply chain progress, and procedural efficiencies
• Forecast equipment needs based on proposed business plan
• Maintain knowledge of building types and how that drives equipment needs
• Identify and resolve unique equipment needs with business groups to mitigate risks
• Develop and establish logistics processes for Procurement Development to optimize network
• Create and communicate status updates to support efficient decision making
