Job summary

Park City Surgery Center, part of Surgery Partners, seeks a Central Processing Technician to join its orthopedic surgery team across four operating rooms. You will decontaminate, assemble, inspect, and sterilize instruments, monitor sterilization equipment, and maintain documentation per AAMI/AORN standards to support safe, timely surgeries.

Shifts are Monday and Friday with times between 6:00 AM and 8:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Certification (CRCST or equivalent) required.
• Experience in sterile processing, ideally in an orthopedic or ambulatory surgery setting.
• Strong working knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection prevention standards.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Team-focused and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble, inspect, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays.
• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, including autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners.
• Maintain documentation in accordance with AAMI and AORN standards.
• Ensure accurate and timely instrument turnover for scheduled surgeries.
• Maintain appropriate inventory and notify leadership of any supply or equipment concerns.
• Communicate effectively with OR staff to meet surgical demands.
• 2 Rotating shifts Mondays & Fridays between 6:00 AM and 8:30 PM.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Central Processing Technician to join our high-performing team at a busy Orthopedic Surgery Center with 4 operating rooms. Our center delivers outstanding patient care in partnership with The Orthopedic Partners, Intermountain Health, and Surgery Partners.

• This position requires working two shifts per week, on Mondays and Fridays. Shift times will vary between 6:00 AM and 8:30 PM based on facility needs.
