Job summary

Surgery Partners Brand is seeking a Central Processing Technician for our Park City Surgery Center. This role emphasizes instrument decontamination, sterilization, and timely turnover for scheduled surgeries within a fast-paced orthopedic setting.

Two rotating shifts are required: Mondays and Fridays, with hours between 6:00 AM and 8:30 PM. CRCST certification and sterile processing experience are essential; we offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time team members.

Qualifications

• CRCST certification required.
• Previous sterile processing experience, ideally in ortho or ambulatory surgery.
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection prevention standards.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble, inspect, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays.
• Operate and monitor autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners.
• Maintain documentation per AAMI and AORN standards.
• Ensure timely instrument turnover for scheduled surgeries.
• Monitor inventory and report supply or equipment issues to leadership.
• Communicate effectively with OR staff to meet surgical needs.
