Job summary

Park City Surgery Center in Park City, UT is seeking a Central Processing Technician to join our orthopedic surgery center with 4 operating rooms. The role requires CRCST certification and prior sterile processing experience.

You'll decontaminate, assemble, inspect, package, and sterilize instruments, operate autoclaves, maintain documentation per AAMI/AORN, and ensure timely instrument turnover. The position offers two rotating shifts on Mondays and Fridays.

Qualifications

• Certification (CRCST or equivalent) required.
• Previous sterile processing experience, ideally in orthopedic or ambulatory surgery.
• Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection prevention standards.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Team-focused and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain documentation in accordance with AAMI and AORN standards
• Ensure accurate and timely instrument turnover for scheduled surgeries
• Maintain appropriate inventory and notify leadership of any supply or equipment concerns
• Communicate effectively with OR staff to meet surgical demands
• 2 Rotating shifts Mondays & Fridays between 6:00 AM and 8:30 PM

Central Processing Technician – Park City Surgery Center

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Central Processing Technician to join our high-performing team at a busy Orthopedic Surgery Center with 4 operating rooms. Our center delivers outstanding patient care in partnership with The Orthopedic Partners, Intermountain Health, and Surgery Partners.

• This position requires working two shifts per week, on Mondays and Fridays. Shift times will vary between 6:00 AM and 8:30 PM based on facility needs.
