Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, Idaho, seeks a Central Processing Tech for Treasure Valley Labs. This part-time role (20 hours/week) requires phlebotomy/lab experience and offers a 7pm–11:45pm shift with possible weekend coverage.

You will coordinate central processing activities, ensure quality of specimens for in-house and reference testing, support billing for reference labs, and assist clinical staff with tests and EMR ordering.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college education or associate degree preferred.
• Courses requiring lab work a plus.
• Prior experience in a hospital setting or reference laboratory preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate activities of the central processing area of the clinical laboratory.
• Ensure quality and quantity of specimens for in-house testing and reference laboratories.
• Handle billing functions for reference laboratories.
• Register patient specimens from outside locations and assist EMR test ordering.
