Penn State Health - Hershey Medical Center is hiring for an Evening Boiler Operator to safely operate and maintain a range of boiler and support systems in a hospital setting. This full-time role requires basic operational skills and careful attention to logs and readings, with a stable evening schedule in Hershey, PA.
Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED and at least one year of boiler plant experience, plus the ability to operate forklifts and other power equipment.

Responsible to safely and proficiently perform a variety of duties to start, stop, operate, maintain and perform minor repair work on high-pressure boilers, absorption and centrifugal chilling machines, CHP unit and all related support/auxiliary equipment to include many types of pumps, air compressors, water softeners and related equipment. Periodically tour the facility to observe operations, and make necessary equipment adjustments. Log significant observations, record daily meter readings and maintain daily operating logs.
