Job summary

ASU's Tempe Campus seeks a Facilities Manager 2 to lead central plant operations, overseeing heating, cooling and power systems to ensure safe, reliable performance across campus.

You will supervise staff, plan work, monitor quality, train personnel, prepare cost estimates, and drive process improvements while coordinating with suppliers and engineers. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00am–4:00pm with 24/7 on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five years of experience in facilities management or related field.
• At least two years of supervisory/ managerial experience.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training acceptable for the role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and assess performance to meet goals.
• Plan and adjust work methods to meet schedules.
• Inspect processes for quality and timeliness.
• Train staff on new methods and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Prepare estimated job costs to optimize resources.
• Develop operations improvements and budget controls.
