Job summary

TEEMA seeks a Facilities Mechanical Engineering Manager in Tempe, AZ to lead a team of HVAC and process utilities engineers and technicians. You will establish maintenance programs, review drawings, coordinate with trade partners, and drive reliability across complex utility systems.

You will also lead energy efficiency initiatives, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in HVAC and/or process utilities engineering (design and operations).
• 2+ years of experience leading engineering/facilities operations teams preferred.
• PE license is mandatory.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of HVAC and process mechanical engineers and technicians, including hiring, performance management, and coaching.
• Establish and implement SOPs, PM programs, and maintenance strategies to ensure system reliability and uptime.
• Review drawings, submittals, monitor construction progress, and coordinate with trade partners.
