Job summary

ENFRA is seeking a Stationary Engineer to maintain, operate, monitor, and repair central plant equipment for hospital and clinic facilities. The role includes preventive maintenance, timely corrective actions, and thorough documentation of activities.

Ideal candidates have water treatment experience for heating/cooling systems, expertise with HVAC controls and Energy Management Systems, and familiarity with OSHA NFPA70E. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with water treatment for heating and cooling systems to protect piping integrity.
• Experience using HVAC/Temperature controls and Energy Management Systems to maintain building temps.
• OSHA Basic, NFPA70E.
• Basic math skills.
• Positive and professional demeanor under stress.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and resolve requests by department.
• Monitor and operate power plant equipment for efficiency.
• Troubleshoot engineering equipment following manufacturer parameters.
• Operate and maintain Energy Management System schedules.
• Perform building rounds and report issues to supervisor.
