Job Summary
The Field Technician IV is responsible for all aspects of equipment installation and repair at client locations. This includes troubleshooting connectivity and mechanical issues, traveling to client sites, and delivering excellent customer service. Prior knowledge of Telecommunications and Data/IT maintenance and repair is required.
Responsibilities
- Hardware installation & decommissioning of enterprise servers and cabling infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting and repair of data center hardware and networking infrastructure.
- Rack and stack of data center equipment, including servers, networking devices, and monitoring systems.
- Rack installation, cabling, powering up, and handing off servers to internal teams.
- Documentation of activities and SOP updates.
- Hardware lifecycle management and inventory control.
- Structured cabling, labeling, and troubleshooting of fiber, copper, and telecom cables.
- Installation, troubleshooting, and repair of system power supplies and cabling.
- Accurate installation of all equipment and ability to execute small projects independently.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
